Ithaca

A beautiful chunk of Corinthian column fell into the sea & washed ashore Ithaca, island home of the legendary Odysseus & the destination of his long journey. As luck would have it, It makes a perfect container for fresh lemons and their blossoms! Consistent with the rest of this collection, the heavy charcoal sketch plays against delicate watercolor to achieve the overall aesthetic of the piece.
