Wild meets refined in ‘O Tannenbaum’. Inspired by uncultivated Fraser Firs & gilded sacred motifs, this design embodies the juxtapositions at the heart of HighBrow Hippie. A few Christmases ago we were lucky enough to get our hands on the most beautifully untamed trees from an abandoned farm in the mountains of Virginia. They’re a little spindly, allowing for views of the lichens growing on the trunk. They’re almost too pretty to decorate. The gold sunburst design radiating from the top is reminiscent of gilded motifs commonly used in Baroque church metalwork & architecture- the epitome of refined. Authentic juxtapositions, highbrow & lowbrow, beauty for beauty’s sake; these are a few of my favorite things.

The cards are flat, (not folded) 4×6 to accommodate photos, if desired, and are printed on lovely, creamy paper.

I’m doing batch orders again so I can offer customization on the back of the card. This means that I will place an order with my printer on October 15th and another on November 15th. If you order on October 16, for example, your order will be placed on November 15. Orders placed on the 15th should arrive by the end of the month.
